About SHAMELESS

Reclaiming the Parts of Yourself You Were Taught to Hide

Most of us were never taught how to have a healthy relationship with ourselves.

We were taught shame:

  • Shame about our bodies.

  • Shame about our emotions.

  • Shame about our desires.

  • Shame about our sexuality.

  • Shame about our identities.

  • Shame about our needs.

  • Shame about taking up space.

For many LGBTQ+ people, these messages begin long before we have the words to understand who we are. We learn that certain thoughts, feelings, desires, and identities are acceptable while others should be hidden, minimized, or denied.

Over time, that shame becomes more than an emotion. It becomes a way of living that shapes our relationships, our confidence, our boundaries, our self-worth, and our ability to show up authentically in the world.

SHAMELESS exists to challenge that.

We believe that every person deserves the freedom to live authentically, connect deeply, and embrace themselves without apology.

This is not simply about sexuality.

This is about liberation.

Through education, coaching, mindfulness, community, retreats, and advocacy, SHAMELESS helps people reclaim the parts of themselves that shame convinced them to hide.

Because freedom begins where shame ends.

Meet Coach Kevin Martin

I'm Kevin Martin, founder of SHAMELESS.

I'm a sexual empowerment coach, naked meditation teacher, educator, researcher, and advocate dedicated to helping people release shame and build healthier relationships with themselves.

My work began with my own healing journey.

Growing up, many of the messages I received about sexuality, identity, and self-expression were rooted in fear, silence, and judgment. Like many people, I spent years carrying beliefs that left me disconnected from parts of myself and uncertain of my own worth.

What I eventually discovered was simple but life-changing:

  • The problem was never who I was.

  • The problem was the shame I had learned to carry.

Through education, mindfulness, personal growth, and years of exploration, I began rebuilding my relationship with myself from a place of compassion rather than judgment.

Today, I help others do the same.

I hold a Master of Science in Psychology and continue advanced studies focused on energy work, human sexuality, identity, and well-being. My work combines psychology, mindfulness, education, coaching, and lived experience to create spaces where people can explore themselves honestly and without shame.

I believe every person deserves to feel at home in their body, confident in their identity, and empowered in their relationships.

Talk-Based Coaching Sessions

Healing often begins with being able to tell the truth.

Talk-based coaching sessions provide a confidential, judgment-free space to explore the beliefs, experiences, fears, and patterns that may be limiting your growth.

Together, we may explore topics such as:

  • Sexual shame and guilt

  • Body image challenges

  • Relationship concerns

  • Consensual non-monogamy

  • Communication and boundaries

  • Religious or cultural conditioning

  • Identity exploration

  • Confidence and self-worth

  • Personal values and sexual ethics

  • Emotional resilience and self-acceptance

These sessions are not therapy.

They are forward-focused coaching experiences designed to help you gain clarity, challenge limiting beliefs, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward the life you want to create.

Naked Guided Meditation Sessions

Many people spend their lives disconnected from their bodies.

They learn to criticize them, compare them, hide them, or judge them.

Naked guided meditation offers a different experience.

These sessions combine mindfulness, guided reflection, breathwork, and body-awareness practices while participants engage from a place of intentional vulnerability.

  • The purpose is not arousal. The purpose is presence.

  • The purpose is not performance. The purpose is connection.

Participants are invited to observe their thoughts, emotions, sensations, and self-judgments with curiosity and compassion rather than criticism.

For many people, simply existing in their body without hiding, performing, or seeking approval becomes a profound healing experience.

These sessions are conducted with clear boundaries, consent, respect, and a commitment to personal growth and emotional well-being.

Retreat Experiences

Transformation often requires stepping away from everyday life.

SHAMELESS retreats create immersive environments where participants can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and engage in meaningful personal growth alongside a supportive community.

Retreat experiences may include:

  • Guided workshops

  • Group discussions

  • Mindfulness practices

  • Naked guided meditation sessions

  • Body image exploration

  • Vulnerability exercises

  • Shame-release activities

  • Community connection

  • Reflection and integration

Retreats are designed to help participants leave with greater self-awareness, deeper confidence, stronger connections, and a renewed sense of authenticity.

The goal is not to become someone new.

The goal is to remember who you were before shame convinced you to hide.

Community

Healing doesn't happen in isolation.

One of the biggest lies shame tells us is that we're alone.

It convinces us that nobody else struggles with the things we struggle with. That nobody else has the same fears, insecurities, questions, or experiences.

The truth is that many of us are carrying similar stories.

That's why community is such an important part of SHAMELESS.

In addition to coaching and retreats, SHAMELESS offers free community spaces where people can connect, learn, grow, and support one another without judgment.

Virtual Weekly Support Group

Our weekly support group provides a space for honest conversations about life, relationships, sexuality, body image, shame, self-worth, and personal growth.

Participants are invited to share openly, listen deeply, and discover that they are not alone in what they're experiencing.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You don't need to have the right words.

You just need to show up.

Virtual Weekly Naked Guided Meditation

These free community sessions offer an opportunity to practice mindfulness, body acceptance, and self-awareness in a supportive environment.

Participants are invited to engage from a place of intentional vulnerability while practicing meditation, reflection, and presence.

As with all SHAMELESS offerings, the purpose is not arousal.

The purpose is connection—to yourself, your body, and the present moment.

Los Angeles Community Meditation

Every Tuesday, SHAMELESS hosts a free community guided meditation gathering at Will Rogers Beach Park in Los Angeles.

These clothed outdoor meditation sessions are open to anyone seeking a moment of presence, reflection, and connection.

Whether you're brand new to meditation or have an established practice, you're welcome to join us as we gather in community and create space for mindfulness, healing, and authentic connection.

Seattle Naked Guided Meditation

On the last Monday of each month, community members gather in Seattle for an in-person naked guided meditation experience.

These sessions offer an opportunity to slow down, disconnect from performance and comparison, and practice being fully present with yourself in a supportive and respectful environment.

Many participants find these gatherings to be powerful experiences of body acceptance, vulnerability, mindfulness, and authentic connection.

The SHAMELESS Discord Community

Growth doesn't happen only during sessions and events.

The SHAMELESS Discord community provides an ongoing space for connection, conversation, support, and accountability.

It's a place where members can celebrate victories, ask questions, share challenges, and connect with others who are also working to build more authentic and shame-free lives.

Because healing becomes a lot easier when you don't have to do it alone.

All SHAMELESS community offerings are free and open to anyone who wants to participate.

Why This Work Matters

Shame affects far more than sexuality.

It impacts how we see ourselves.

  • How we communicate.

  • How we love.

  • How we set boundaries.

  • How we show up in relationships.

  • How much of ourselves we allow others to see.

Left unexamined, shame often creates isolation, anxiety, self-criticism, disconnection, and fear.

When shame begins to dissolve, people often experience:

  • Greater confidence

  • Improved relationships

  • Stronger boundaries

  • Increased self-acceptance

  • More authentic self-expression

  • Better communication

  • Deeper connection with themselves and others

This work matters because people deserve more than survival.

  • We all deserve freedom.

  • We all deserve belonging.

  • We all deserve to know we are enough exactly as we are.

This Is Not About Eroticism

Because some SHAMELESS offerings involve conversations about sexuality, body image, or intentional nudity, people sometimes assume this work is erotic in nature.

It is not.

While sexuality may be explored, the purpose of SHAMELESS is education, healing, self-discovery, mindfulness, and empowerment.

There is a significant difference between using sexuality for entertainment and exploring sexuality as part of personal growth.

  • The goal is not arousal. The goal is awareness.

  • The goal is not performance. The goal is authenticity.

Every SHAMELESS offering is grounded in consent, respect, mindfulness, education, and personal development.

The focus is not on what people do with their bodies.

The focus is on how people relate to themselves.

The SHAMELESS Foundation

The SHAMELESS Foundation is the charitable and community-centered arm of the SHAMELESS movement.

While coaching, courses, and retreats help individuals transform their lives, the Foundation exists to ensure that healing, connection, and empowerment remain accessible to as many people as possible.

Shame thrives in isolation. It convinces people they are alone, broken, unworthy, or somehow different from everyone around them.

Community is one of the most powerful antidotes to shame.

The Foundation exists to create spaces where people can experience belonging, authenticity, support, and connection while discovering they are not alone in their struggles.

Through donations, sponsorships, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives, the Foundation helps fund community-centered programs including:

  • The SHAMELESS Discord community

  • Weekly peer support groups

  • Weekly naked guided meditation sessions

  • Educational workshops and events

  • Community outreach initiatives

  • Scholarships for personal growth programs

  • Future advocacy and research initiatives

The Foundation also provides scholarship opportunities for individuals who wish to attend SHAMELESS retreats but may not otherwise have the financial resources to participate.

We believe healing should not be reserved for those who can afford it.

Everyone deserves access to community, growth, connection, and support.

As SHAMELESS continues to grow, the Foundation will expand its impact through education, research, advocacy, scholarships, community-building initiatives, and programs that help people live more authentic and shame-free lives.

Because liberation should be accessible to everyone.

Our Mission

To dismantle shame and expand human freedom through education, community, mindfulness, coaching, advocacy, and accessible programs that help people live authentically and connect more deeply with themselves and others.

Our Vision

  • A world where no person feels compelled to hide who they are.

  • A world where authenticity is celebrated, vulnerability is welcomed, and connection replaces isolation.

  • A world where every individual has access to the support, community, and resources needed to live free from shame.

  • A world where people are empowered to embrace their full humanity without fear, judgment, or apology.
